Job summary

Unique Home Remodeling Professionals, LLC — South Jersey is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter for residential remodeling and new builds. The role combines leadership of on-site operations with hands-on carpentry across framing, trim, and installation of doors and windows.

Requirements include a minimum of 5 years in residential carpentry, ability to run job sites independently, and your own tools. The position offers full-time work in South Jersey and surrounding areas with overtime

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of residential carpentry experience
Proficient in framing & trim
Ability to run job sites independently and lead small crews
Reliable transportation to job sites
Must have own carpentry tools and tool belt
Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Lead daily on-site operations for remodeling projects, additions, and new residential builds
Perform hands-on carpentry including framing (rough + structural) and trim work
Install doors, windows, and architectural details
Oversee subcontractors to ensure quality and schedule alignment
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and architectural drawings
Maintain clean, safe, and organized job site
Track materials and manage inventory
Communicate progress with project management and ownership
Ensure work meets quality standards and building codes
Represent the company professionally with clients and homeowners
