Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Carpenter Foreman for a Beech Island project. You will direct the layout, forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts, coordinating with lead hands to deliver safe, high‑quality concrete structures on time.

As a Journeyman carpenter, you will oversee safety programs, review timecards, and mentor crew members. Strong knowledge of forms and concrete finishing is essential, with NCCER certifications highly valued.

Qualifications

• Journeyman experience in carpentry and concrete craft with leadership duties.
• Thorough understanding of forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts.
• Strong safety mindset with ability to lead pre-job safety planning.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise layout, installation of forms, rebar, embeds and anchors.
• Lead safety programs and ensure zero injuries on site.
• Coordinate with crews and other trades to meet project schedules.
• Review timecards and ensure correct hours and phase codes.
• Inspect workmanship for conformance with plans and specs.
• Mentor crew and provide on-the-job training.
• Plan weekly schedules and ensure materials/tools availability.
