Job summary

Family Resource Home Care in Oregon is seeking a Lead Caregiver to support clients with activities of daily living and to lead other caregivers on shift. This role requires flexibility to work on short notice across assigned branches and service areas.

You will handle a range of duties from meal preparation and light housekeeping to transportation and companionship, with hands-on training and ongoing support. The position offers consistent hours and pay, with comprehensive caregiver resources.

Qualifications

• Must pass a state and national background check.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance with clean driving record.
• Active NAC/CNA or HCA license preferred but not required.
• One year experience in home care, AFH, hospital or nursing home setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with activities of daily living (household tasks, meals, bathing, grooming).
• Offer companionship and engage clients in daily activities and hobbies.
• Assist with transfers and transport to appointments in your vehicle.
• Monitor client condition and report changes to the team.
• Support with medication reminders and light caregiving tasks as needed.
