Job summary

Home Instead is hiring a Care Pro Lead to support older adults in their homes across the greater Columbus area. This full-time role offers guaranteed hours—40 hours weekly with 60 hours of availability—and a competitive pay range of $18.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional caregiving experience, non-family
• Active STNA/CNA, HHA, LPN, or RN credential
• Experience with personal care, transfers, dementia care, and end-of-life support
• Calm, confident, and professional approach in changing or challenging care situations
• Strong communication with clients, families, office staff, and fellow caregivers
• Comfortable using a smartphone app for scheduling and care documentation
• Basic English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills

Schedule, Travel & Requirements

• Must be available for 60 hours per week to qualify for guaranteed 40 full-time hours
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 60 minutes to client homes
• Comfortable working in different Columbus-area home environments, including homes with pets or smoking environments
• Ability to accept shifts on short notice when needed
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including assisting with mobility, transfers, and personal care
• Must pass background check, drug screening, and required assessments
• $18.00-$20.00/hr, depending on experience
