Job summary

Home Instead in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Care Pro Lead to support older adults in their homes across the greater Columbus area. This full-time role emphasizes reliable, high-quality care and flexibility across client needs.

You’ll provide personal care, mobility assistance, dementia and end-of-life support, and help with onboarding new clients. The position offers guaranteed hours (40/wk) with up to 60 hours weekly availability, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional caregiving experience, non-family, OR active STNA/CNA, HHA, LPN, or RN credential.
• Experience with personal care, transfers, dementia care, and end-of-life support.
• Calm, confident, and professional approach in changing or challenging care situations.
• Strong communication skills with clients, families, office staff, and fellow caregivers.
• Comfortable supporting and guiding other caregivers when needed.
• Comfortable using a smartphone app for scheduling and care documentation.
• Basic English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Full-time caregiving role with guaranteed hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed with 60 hours/week of availability
• Pay range: $18.00-$20.00/hr depending on experience; $720-$800/week at 40 hours before taxes
• Greater Columbus service area: Client homes across Columbus and surrounding Central Ohio communities
• Best suited for experienced, reliable caregivers: Ideal for care professionals who are confident supporting different clients, care needs, and home environments

Required Experience & Qualifications

Schedule, Travel & Requirements

• Must be available for 60 hours per week to qualify for guaranteed 40 full-time hours
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 60 minutes to client homes
• Comfortable working in different Columbus-area home environments, including homes with pets or smoking environments
• Ability to accept shifts on short notice when needed
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including assisting with mobility, transfers, and personal care
• Must pass background check, drug screening, and required assessments
• $18.00-$20.00/hr, depending on experience
• $720-$800/week before taxes at 40 hours per week
