Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Lead Caregiver to act as shift leader, ensuring consistent resident care while coaching the caregiving team. You will oversee shift assignments, coverage, and safety, mentoring new staff and promoting high-quality, compassionate service.

The role combines hands-on caregiving with leadership responsibilities, requiring strong communication and decision-making, plus certifications in CPR/First Aid and medication administration.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required (18+).
• Certification in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration preferred.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision‑making skills.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.
• Provide hands‑on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure alignment with ISP.
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.
• Support onboarding and mentor new team members.
• Promote safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions.
