Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Lead Caregiver in the United States. You will serve as shift leader, ensuring exceptional resident care while coaching the caregiving team.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED, CPR/First Aid, and Medication Administration certs, along with strong communication and delegation skills. You will lead caregiving during shifts, review charts for ISP alignment, mentor staff, and support onboarding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration certifications required.
• Strong communication, delegation and decision-making skills needed.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.
• Provide hands-on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure alignment with ISP.
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.
• Support onboarding and mentor new team members.
• Promote safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions.
