Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Lead Caregiver to serve as shift leader and provide exceptional, compassionate care. You will coach the caregiving team, review charting for ISP alignment, and monitor resident changes while ensuring safety and compliance during shifts.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid and medication administration certifications, plus strong communication and leadership abilities. This is an on-site role in a senior living community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration certifications required.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance and coverage.
• Provide hands-on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure ISP alignment.
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.
• Support onboarding and mentor new team members.
• Promote safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions.
