Job summary

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking an experienced Lead Caregiver & Office Coordinator. This flexible role supports clients, caregivers, and the office team, stepping in where help is needed.

You may launch new clients, coach caregivers, complete quality visits, assist with scheduling, or help in the office when a teammate is out. This position offers variety, with growth beyond traditional caregiving while still providing hands-on care when required.

Qualifications

• HCA or CNA credential valid in Washington State.
• Hands-on caregiving experience required.
• Comfort with a variety of client needs including personal care and dementia.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willing to obtain.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with basic technology for scheduling and documentation.
• Reliable, independent worker with flexibility to multitask.
• Willingness to move between field work and office tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help new clients start strong, including caregiver introductions and initial shifts.
• Provide short-notice and emergency caregiving coverage when needed.
• Coach and support caregivers in client homes.
• Conduct caregiver observations and reinforce care plans and documentation.
• Assist with caregiver orientation and hands-on training.
• Complete client quality visits and check-ins as assigned.
• Identify and resolve concerns related to caregiver fit, client satisfaction, safety, or quality.
• Assist with scheduling, caregiver coordination, and office tasks during absences or busy periods.
• Participate in rotating after-hours and weekend on-call schedule.
• Communicate clearly with clients, families, caregivers, and office staff.
• Document visits, observations, and important follow-up needs.
