Job summary

Avenues Home Care in Chattanooga, TN seeks a dedicated Lead Caregiver to support elderly and vulnerable clients in their homes. You will lead daily caregiving tasks, coordinate with families and supervisors, and ensure client safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, medication reminders, meal prep, and transportation, while maintaining confidentiality and documenting activities in the agency system. Strong communication and reliability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience with elderly or vulnerable clients is required or preferred.
• Ability to follow care plans and document activities accurately.
• Experience with ADLs and in-home care tasks is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) per care plan.
• Assist with medication reminders, meal prep, housekeeping and transportation as needed.
• Document daily activities and report changes to supervisor.
• Maintain client safety and confidentiality at all times.
