Job summary

Avenues Home Care - Nashville, TN is seeking a Lead Caregiver to provide compassionate, client‑centered care in the local area. You will supervise and assist with ADLs, administer medications as directed, prepare meals, handle light housekeeping, and offer companionship to elderly or vulnerable clients.

You will report to the supervisor via the agency system, maintain accurate logs, and follow HIPAA and confidentiality policies while delivering high‑quality care.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Preference for CNA license or equivalent caregiving experience and CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living as outlined in the plan of care.
• Provide medication assistance, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship.
• Attend to care duties with safety and report daily logs to supervisors.
• Communicate any changes in condition and maintain client confidentiality.
