Job summary

Home Instead is hiring a Care Pro Lead to support older adults in the greater Pittsburgh area. This full-time role guarantees 40 hours weekly with 60 hours available, and pays $20.00–$22.00 per hour depending on experience, with weekly pay and mileage reimbursement.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of professional caregiving experience and credentials such as CNA, HHA, LPN, or RN. Travel to client homes within the greater Pittsburgh area is required.

What You’ll Do

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional caregiving experience, non-family, OR active CNA, HHA, LPN, or RN credential
• Experience with personal care, transfers, dementia care, and end-of-life support
• Calm, confident, and professional approach in changing or challenging care situations
• Strong communication skills with clients, families, office staff, and fellow caregivers
• Comfortable supporting and guiding other caregivers when needed
• Comfortable using a smartphone app for scheduling and care documentation
• Basic English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills

Schedule, Travel & Requirements

• Must be available for 60 hours per week to qualify for guaranteed 40 full-time hours
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 60 minutes to client homes
• Comfortable working in different Pittsburgh-area home environments, including houses, apartments, townhomes, buildings with stairs or elevators, homes with pets, and smoking environments
• Ability to accept shifts on short notice when needed
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including assisting with mobility, transfers, and personal care
• Must pass background check, drug screening, and required assessments
• $20.00-$22.00/hr, depending on experience
• $800-$880/week before taxes at 40 hours per week
