HomeCentris Healthcare in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Lead Caregiver to oversee direct client care and mentor other caregivers. This role combines hands-on personal care with team leadership to ensure safe, compassionate service for our clients.

The Lead Caregiver provides bathing, grooming, mobility assistance, and helps with medication support as directed, while training new staff and supporting care plans.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification or a minimum of 5 years of caregiver experience.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (must drive).
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Flexibility to work throughout Central PA.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to support clients and caregivers in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Assist clients with daily living activities and companionship.
• Administer or assist with medications as directed.
• Monitor clients’ health conditions and report any changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
• Train, mentor, and support new caregivers.
• Ensure care plans are followed accurately and updated when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and services provided.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and care teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
