HomeCentris Healthcare is hiring caregivers in the Harrisburg and Lancaster areas. We provide training, skill development, and ongoing support to help you succeed in your role.

We offer up to $15/hr depending on experience and location, with benefits including weekly pay, paid orientation, and ongoing training to build your skills and confidence.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Personal or professional caregiving experience
• Valid driver's license or state ID
• Current TB test (less than a year old)
• Background check required
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications

Responsibilities

• Companionship & Engagement: Foster connection through conversation, games, music, and activities.
• Daily Living Assistance: Help with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, grooming, and feeding.
• Light Housekeeping & Errands: Assist with meal prep, laundry, cleaning, and transportation per care plan.
• Monitoring & Communication: Observe and report changes; complete shift documentation.

What You’ll Do

• Companionship & Engagement: Foster connection through conversation, games, music, and mentally stimulating activities tailored to the individual.
• Daily Living Assistance: Support clients with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, grooming, and feeding.
• Light Housekeeping & Errands: Assist with meal prep, laundry, cleaning, and transportation as outlined in the care plan.
• Monitoring & Communication: Observe and report changes in client condition, behavior, or cognition. Complete documentation after each shift.

All of our clients have different needs and specific care plans. We will not have you care for a client that requires help beyond your comfort level and skill set.
