Sunrise Senior Living in Santa Clarita, CA is seeking a Lead Caregiver to serve as shift leader, coaching and supporting the caregiving team while delivering exceptional resident care.

You will lead shift assignments, supervise attendance, provide hands-on ADL support, and mentor new staff, aligning with ISP and safety standards. This role blends hands-on care with frontline leadership and a commitment to hospitality and quality service for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; age 18+.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications required.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.
• Provide hands-on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure alignment with ISP.
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.
