Job summary

Medical Solutions Direct Hire seeks a Lead Cardiovascular Technologist for a role in Ardsley, NY. The Lead works in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and EP lab, mentoring staff, coordinating daily workflow, and upholding quality and safety standards.

The position requires 5+ years scrub/cardiac tech experience, RCIS/RCES, and BLS/ACLS certification, with leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a health science program (cardiovascular tech, ultrasound, radiologic tech, respiratory therapy, nursing or paramedic/EMT).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years scrub technician or cardiac technician experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• RCIS or RCES certification required.
• Demonstrates excellent clinical judgment and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lab operations, staffing, and room assignments to ensure smooth workflows.
• Lead lab huddles, case briefings, and department initiatives.
• Supervise procedures in Cath and EP labs including interventions and device implants.
• Ensure imaging, monitoring, and equipment are functioning and properly maintained.
• Coordinate with Nursing Leadership and Materials Management for supplies and equipment trials.
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and accreditation standards.
• Support revenue integrity through accurate documentation and audits.
