Job summary

Medical Solutions Direct Hire seeks a Lead Cardiovascular Technologist in Elmsford, NY, to oversee a high‑volume cardiac cath/EP lab. You will mentor staff, coordinate daily workflow, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance during complex procedures such as ablations, device implants, and imaging-guided interventions.

The role requires leadership, RCIS/RCES, BLS/ACLS, and a strong clinical judgment.

Qualifications

• A graduate of a health science program including cardiovascular tech, ultrasound, radiologic tech, respiratory therapy, nursing or paramedic/EMT.
• BSc degree preferred.
• Scrub technician training program or hospital-based training required.
• BLS and ACLS required; RCIS or RCES required.
• Demonstrates clinical judgment and ability to apply new concepts in invasive cardiology.
• Shows commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily oversight of room assignments, workflow, and staffing coordination.
• Leads huddles, case briefings, and operational meetings.
• Assists with scheduling, onboarding, and performance feedback.
• Maintains patient safety, sterile technique, and regulatory readiness.
• Oversees equipment use, maintenance, and device implants as lead specialist.
• Coordinates with team for equipment trials and staff education.
