Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking an experienced Echocardiography Lead Technologist to perform 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping and Doppler studies in adults, adolescents, and geriatric patients. Role includes independent vascular and cardiac ultrasound procedures, documentation accuracy, and participation in performance improvement activities.

Position requires 3+ years of echo/vascular experience, RVT/RVS and RDCS/RCS certifications, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Medical Sonography - Vascular and Cardiac (RDCS or RCS) plus BLS.
• Educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum experience: 3 years of Echo and vascular experience.
• Licensure or certifications: RVT/RVS and RDCS/RCS.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac echo, vascular ultrasound and related procedures per protocol.
• Maintain PI documentation and ensure accurate charging.
• Lead technologist and participate in department huddles.
• Input data to charge and ensure IAC accreditation records.
