Job summary

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience performing ECG, Holter monitoring, Holter scanning and related Stress Testing procedures.
• Associates Degree in Allied Health Sciences or equivalent training/experience as Cardiology Technician; completion of Basic Arrhythmia Course.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for ECG, Holter monitor, and Stress Test exams and explains procedures.
• Manages multi-patient task list and prioritizes appropriately.
• Maintains patient flow and delivers quality services within department budgets.
• Acts as mentor to staff and less experienced technologists; orients new hires and students.
• Handles equipment maintenance issues and reports malfunctions.
• Responds to Code Blue calls as part of resuscitation team and presents ECG tracings for interpretation.
