Job summary

AdventHealth Burleson in Texas is seeking a Cardiographic Technician to greet patients and prepare them for cardiac stress testing, ensuring proper history, skin prep, and EKG lead placement.

You will monitor the tracing, confirm test readiness, review meds, and communicate results to patients and their families. This role requires BLS, CCT/RCIS preferred, and a commitment to safety and ongoing education in a fast-paced lab.

Qualifications

• Must be able to independently perform cardiac tests.
• Strong knowledge of heart anatomy and cardiac medications.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Greets and prepares patients for cardiac stress testing with history, skin prep and EKG lead placement.
• Evaluates patients to ensure proper EKG tracing before stress testing.
• Maintains understanding of procedures and informs patients and families of results and follow-up.
