Job summary

Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles seeks an experienced Supervisor, Echo Sonography to lead the Cardiac Echo Sonography team within the Smidt Heart Institute. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate staff, and ensure high-quality patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include supervising sonography services, scheduling, mentoring staff, and collaborating with physicians and engineering to maintain equipment and procedures.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cardiac echocardiography
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
• Registered Sonographer required (RDCS) or equivalent
• BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the cardiac echo service.
• Oversee staffing assignments and scheduling based on staff competencies.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and reported for repair or upgrades.
• Provide orientation, coaching, and performance feedback to staff.
