Cedars-Sinai's Smidt Heart Institute is seeking an Echo Sonographer I to join a world-class team and support cardiology imaging. This entry-level role offers mentorship while you perform basic echocardiographic imaging under physician supervision.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program required.
• BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• RDCS or RCS preferred or willing to obtain within one year from start date.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physicians in performing basic Echocardiographic imaging.
• Performs ultrasound imaging technologies for cardiac patients in an in-patient and out-patient setting.
• Assists with detecting issues related to blood flow and heart ailments and escalates appropriately to physicians as they develop diagnoses and design patient treatment plans.
• Receives mentorship until able to exercise competency in the use of all related ultrasound equipment and imaging protocols.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe patient environment and ensures that the room and equipment are prepared, functional and stocked for assigned procedures.
