Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an experienced professional to assist the Invasive Cardiologist in diagnostic and interventional procedures, providing leadership alongside the team for efficient, cost-effective department operations. Responsibilities include applying cardiovascular physiology knowledge during procedures, maintaining radiographic technique expertise, and mentoring staff.

Required are 3 years in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology and ARRT CVI or RCIS certification,

Qualifications

3 years' experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology.
ARRT CV Interventional Radiography CVI OR RCIS certification required.
ACLS and CPR certifications.
Strong critical thinking and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

Assist the Invasive Cardiologist in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Maintain expertise in current radiographic imagery techniques for invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures.
Orient inexperienced staff on laboratory equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.
Anticipate adverse reactions during procedural activities and respond appropriately.
Complete documentation for procedures, regulatory and billing protocols, and image storage/archival.
