Job summary

KCN is seeking a Campground Maintenance Technician to maintain campground buildings, facilities and grounds. Reports to the General Manager and collaborates with the maintenance team to ensure safe, clean, and fully operational properties.

Responsibilities include basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and equipment upkeep, plus customer service to guests. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing equipment and installation.
• Basic knowledge of chemical properties, handling and usage.
• Basic knowledge of propane and gasoline dispensing.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs and maintenance to campground facilities, equipment, and grounds as directed by management.
• Implement daily, weekly and monthly maintenance and cleaning programs including pool/spa, lawn care, landscaping and garbage service.
• Comply with KOA, federal, state and local safety programs and store operations guidelines.
• Provide attentive, responsive guest service and report problems or requests to management.
• Assist with housekeeping or guest services as needed.
