Galileo Learning, LLC is seeking an experienced Camp Director to lead our K–8 summer camps and serve as the site General Manager and public face of the organization. You will open and operate a Camp Galileo location, lead a dynamic team of educators and staff to create joyful, safe environments, and uphold program quality while delivering excellence in customer care, curriculum, and operations.

This seasonal role runs March–September 2027 with phased on-site and remote components, and

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience working directly with students in educational settings.
• At least 1 year of experience managing or supervising adult staff.
• Proven ability to create safe, inclusive environments for children and build trust with families.
• Strong communication skills with families, partners, and staff.
• Ability to manage scheduling, staffing, and payroll, and stay calm under pressure.
• Willingness to travel for preseason events and eligibility for required safety certifications.

Mansioni

• Lead camp operations from preseason planning through end-of-summer wrap-up.
• Oversee daily camp operations, parent communication, and program quality.
• Train, mentor, and manage a staff of 7–40 at various sites.
• Ensure safety, inclusivity, and adherence to Galileo’s mission and standards.
• Coordinate scheduling, payroll, and staff performance reviews.
• Represent camp in the community and build partnerships with families and partners.
