Job summary

ALFRED COFFEE in Los Angeles seeks a Full-Time Shift Lead in the Arts District to support daily cafe operations and drive hospitality excellence. You will lead shifts, coach team members, and ensure consistent service and product quality.

Responsibilities include managing floor activity, inventory, scheduling, training, cash handling, POS use, and upholding Alfred standards while fostering a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in cafe, coffee, or restaurant environment preferred.
• Strong hospitality mindset with focus on guest experience.
• Ability to lead during fast-paced shifts with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example delivering hospitality and Alfred service standards.
• Provide confident leadership during shifts to ensure smooth cafe operations.
• Onboard and coach team; support staffing and shift flow decisions.
• Oversee daily cafe operations for quality, cleanliness, and consistency.
• Manage register operations, cash handling, and tip distribution.
• Ensure health, safety, sanitation, and HACCP compliance.
