Job summary

Alfred is seeking a Part-Time Shift Lead in Malibu to support daily cafe operations and lead the team through busy shifts. You will drive hospitality standards, ensure service quality, and act as a hands-on partner to café leadership.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, maintaining operations, managing inventory and cash handling, and upholding safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cafe/restaurant preferred.
• Passion for hospitality and guest experiences.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Reliable attendance and availability, three shifts per week minimum.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example delivering exceptional hospitality and Alfred service standards.
• Provide confident leadership during shifts to ensure smooth cafe operations.
• Create a welcoming environment and engage guests professionally.
• Address guest questions and escalations in line with Alfred standards.
• Maintain knowledge of cafe offerings and support team learning.
