Qualifications

• 6+ years of CAD sculpting and advanced surfacing experience.
• Expert proficiency in Autodesk Alias with mastery of NURBS, continuity, and transitions.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and production-aware model construction.
• Experience developing consumer products, preferably wearables or electronics.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing constraints, tolerances, and tooling.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate tradeoffs clearly.
• Portfolio demonstrating advanced surfacing, integration with CAD, and production-intent work.
• Commitment to leveraging AI tools while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Translate sketches and scan data into precise digital models capturing form and character.
• Create advanced NURBS surface models in Alias with attention to curvature and surface integrity.
• Bridge Alias with SolidWorks workflows for production-ready integration.
• Support development from concept through production ramp, preserving design intent.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to resolve wearability, fit, and manufacturability challenges.
