Job summary

Apple is seeking a Digital Sculptor to join its commercial design group in the USA. You will craft meticulous 3-D surface models for industrial design and product development, using Alias and related CAD tools, collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and vendors.

You'll translate concepts into manufacturing-ready surfaces, contribute to high-quality renderings, and support tooling teams throughout development of current and future Apple products.

Qualifications

• A strong passion for pursuing a long-term career in the craft of 3-D modeling.
• Proficiency in NURBS modeling preferred (Alias, Rhino, etc.).
• Ability to go beyond software to manually refine surfaces.
• Knowledge of solid modeling CAD applications is a plus.
• Candidates should enjoy fast-paced work, have perseverance, strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Industry design, digital design, model making, product design or related field is favored; new grads with advanced modeling skills may be considered.
• All experience levels welcomed to apply.
