Formlabs in Boston seeks an Industrial Designer to design new products from idea to production, develop concepts with clear visual communication, and prototype iteratively. You will test designs with users and refine the hardware user experience from unboxing to maintenance.

You will collaborate with Product, UI Design, Engineering and Manufacturing, creating CAD for design intent and communicating with hand sketches. A 3–5 year high-tech background and a strong portfolio are required.

Formación

• Portfolio of relevant design work.
• University degree in Industrial Design.
• 3–5 years of design experience in high-tech industries.
• Aesthetic decision making with attention to detail.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
• Effective hand-sketch communication.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, Keyshot and Adobe CC.
• Prototyping with varied methods.
• Experience solving problems with engineering/manufacturability constraints.

Responsabilidades

• Design new products from idea to production.
