Job summary

The candidate must possess strong SolidWorks knowledge, PDM proficiency, and the ability to work under general technical direction while coordinating with engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of drafting experience OR an Associate’s with 8+ years OR a HS diploma with 12+ years in drafting within manufacturing.
• Experience supervising up to five drafters and mentoring growth of the drafting team.
• Advanced SolidWorks knowledge and SolidWorks PDM proficiency.
• In-depth understanding of ANSI Y14 drawing standards.
• Experience producing drawings with clear dimensions and tolerances for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop design drawings according to engineering sketches and specifications.
• Digitize, edit, and revise engineering drawings of components, parts, structures, and assemblies.
• Check drawings for conformance to criteria, standards, and requirements before release.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and production teams to ensure manufacturability.
