Job summary

Arena Technical Resources, LLC seeks a Drafter / CAD Operator IV to support a DoD program at Offutt AFB in Omaha, NE. The role focuses on design, installation, configuration, and testing of IT infrastructure and C4I/IT electronic systems across multiple facilities, ensuring compliant, secure, and operable solutions.

Responsibilities include creating complex CAD drawings and 3D models with AutoCAD/SolidWorks/Revit, collaborating with engineers, documenting procedures, and leading CAD

Qualifications

• 6–8 years CAD/AutoCAD and/or Revit experience.
• AutoCAD certification preferred.
• Experience supporting IT services design, installation, configuration, and testing in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Supports NIWC Pacific embedded engineering team in developing integrated, cost-effective solutions.
• Assist in developing the Top-Level Design (TLD) by drafting portions and participating in reviews.
• Advanced Drafting & Design – Create and modify complex CAD drawings and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).
• Technical Expertise & Problem-Solving – Interpret designs, resolve conflicts, optimize layouts for manufacturability or construction.
• Collaboration & Documentation – Work with engineers, architects, and teams to refine designs and maintain documentation.
• Work with IT engineers to capture and document testing, installation, configuration, IA-compliance procedures.
• Make recommendations for improving design/content of documents.
• Identify document production timelines and incorporate into project schedules.
• Lead the CAD documentation development efforts, as needed.
