Job summary

Donatech Corporation in Maryland is seeking a CAD Drafter to support our CAD Modeling and Drafting department. You will create 2D drawings and 3D models for product, tooling and testing components and assemblies using Siemens NX.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in CAD drafting and modeling, knowledge of GD&T and ASME standards, and the ability to revise drawings to support manufacturing operations while ensuring quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CAD drafting and modeling experience.
• Knowledge of GD&T and ASME standards.

Looking for a Drafter to support our CAD Modeling and Drafting department. As a member of the CAD Modeling and Drafting department you’ll get to create 2d CAD drawings and 3d CAD mdoels for Product, Tooling and Testing components and assemblies. T

Responsibilities

Plans, lays outs, draws, and revises detailed part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings from basic layouts, established references, and standard data in a field of specialization such as structures, devices, mechanics, electrical, or electronics. Utilizes computer-aided design equipment, Siemens NX. Completes details of major layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices. Determines scaling; inserts necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning; prepares specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations; prepares complete production detail drawings; contributes design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations.

Basic Qualifications:

5 years min experience CAD Drafting and modeling

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the application of GD&T, and ASME standards
