Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer to lead development for low voltage tray cable, medium voltage, and building wire. You will design and run research projects, partner with product management, and drive cost-saving material/process improvements.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, visit customers to support sales, launch new products, and provide training to teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and product development/design.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma problem-solving methods.
• Willingness to travel about 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development for low voltage tray cable, medium voltage, and building wire.
• Coordinate product trials and visit customers to support sales.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to solve production challenges and improve designs.
• Represent Prysmian at industry events and standards organizations (UL and CSA).
