Technovision, Inc. is seeking a Lead C#/.NET Engineer for a Hybrid (3 days onsite) long-term contract in Hamilton, NJ. The role focuses on modernizing a legacy benefits system hosted on AWS, refactoring converted code, and setting data-access architecture with EF Core against PostgreSQL.

The candidate will mentor developers, enforce coding standards, and ensure functional equivalence to the legacy system while meeting nightly batch performance windows.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional C#/.NET software engineering experience with senior/lead responsibilities.
• Deep expertise in C#, .NET Framework/Core, async programming, and performance optimization.
• Expert-level EF Core with PostgreSQL schema design and migrations.
• Strong REST API design with ASP.NET Core Web API.
• Solid software design, SOLID, domain modeling, and DI.
• Testing discipline with unit/integration/regression frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Refactor converted COBOL-derived code into maintainable C#/.NET with clean architecture.
• Own data-access using EF Core against PostgreSQL; define models, mappings, and migrations.
• Lead technical standards, reviews, and mentorship for the team.
• Ensure correctness of benefit calculations and performance within batch windows.
• Deliver incrementally with CI/CD integration and quality gates.
