DEW Softech, Inc in Hamilton, NJ is seeking a Sr/Lead C#/.NET Engineer for a contract role, in-person hybrid. You will own refactoring of COBOL-derived code into idiomatic .NET, and design the data-access architecture using EF Core against PostgreSQL.

You will set engineering standards and safeguard functional equivalence to the legacy system for a mission-critical benefits platform. You will mentor developers, implement CI/CD with AWS CodePipeline or GitHub Actions, ensure unit and regression

Qualifications

• Extensive C#/.NET engineering experience with modern Windows/Linux stacks.
• Strong EF Core, relational databases, and REST API design skills.
• Experience with AWS & CI/CD pipelines, code quality gates, and TDD.

Responsabilités

• C#/.NET engineering and refactoring of converted COBOL-derived code.
• Design data-access with EF Core against PostgreSQL and manage migrations.
• Lead architectural decisions, coding standards, and reviews.
