About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Lead Business Process Re-engineering Consultant to join their fully remote consulting practice. This role is critical in helping organizations across various sectors optimize their operational efficiency and effectiveness through strategic process redesign. You will be responsible for leading engagements, analyzing complex business operations, and architecting innovative solutions that drive significant improvements. Operating in a remote-first capacity means you'll be collaborating with a global team and clients using the latest digital collaboration tools. Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the design and implementation of business process re-engineering (BPR) initiatives for clients.
• Conduct in-depth process analysis, mapping 'as-is' states and designing optimized 'to-be' processes.
• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement within client operations.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements for BPR engagements.
• Lead and mentor teams of consultants in process analysis, documentation, and solution design.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements and drive consensus on future state processes.
• Utilize process modeling tools and methodologies (e.g., BPMN) to document and communicate process designs.
• Develop performance metrics and KPIs to measure the success of re-engineered processes.
• Prepare and present findings, recommendations, and implementation roadmaps to senior client management.
• Ensure the successful handover and adoption of new processes by client teams.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in management consulting, with a specialized focus on business process re-engineering, operational improvement, or Lean Six Sigma.
• Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex BPR projects.
• Expertise in process analysis, mapping, and re-engineering methodologies.
• Strong understanding of various business functions and their interdependencies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Superior facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a virtual environment.
• Experience with process improvement frameworks like Lean and Six Sigma is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with process modeling software (e.g., Visio, ARIS, Bizagi).
• Must be comfortable and effective working in a fully remote, distributed team structure.
