Lead Business Engineer

Location: Duluth, GA, US, 30096

Role Overview

In close cooperation with customers and guided by Sales and the Team Manager, you will support the Sales organization and our customers in advanced technical and commercial tasks.

Responsibilities
  1. Interact with customers at all levels to translate needs into functional actions.
  2. Maintain data and information in the SWEP CRM system, logging activities and updating records.
  3. Execute product selection and quoting from RFQ to order completion, including setting prices according to guidelines and discounts.
  4. Provide commercial and technical support for all types of SWEP customers, including complex requests like 2-phase calculations and customizing.
  5. Provide SSP G8 software training and support its integration into customer systems.
  6. Evaluate material specifications and certifications, leading administrative work to ensure requirements are met.
  7. Lead quality audits and support customer visits at SWEP factories.
  8. Coordinate stock setups, prepare new items, and analyze profitability and stock turns.
  9. Conduct customer/market research to identify new opportunities.
  10. Participate in internal projects and customer-specific projects, acting as a project leader when needed.
  11. Assist in product phase in/out, including data collection and customer approval processes.
  12. Drive financial analysis for strategic planning and business opportunities, supporting value-based selling strategies.
  13. Create and maintain customer-specific pricelists.
  14. Handle field failure reporting and follow-up on claims.
  15. Provide training in your field of expertise.
  16. Represent SWEP at customer events, exhibitions, and conferences.
  17. Stay updated on market trends and technological developments.
