We are seeking a Lead Bus Driver to join our team in Alexandria, IN. As the Lead Bus Driver, you will ensure all bus staff provide safe, reliable, and on-time transportation for children enrolled in the program as outlined in the ECMHSP Transportation Manual. You will be responsible for transportation leadership services for designated campuses, including monitoring, supervising, maintaining records and reports, and serving as a substitute Bus Driver when needed.

We are a nonprofit Head Start organization established in 1974, serving migrant and seasonal farmworker children and families by providing high-quality early childhood education. We have 50 campuses across 10 states, serving nearly 3,000 children annually.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: High School Diploma or GED, CDL (Class A or B) with P & S endorsement, one year bus driving experience, School Bus Driver Certificate of Training, supervisory experience, DOT physical, and drug screen.
• Accepted: High School Diploma or GED, CDL (Class A or B) with P & S endorsement, School Bus Driver Certificate of Training.

Additional: Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
