What does a Bus Driver (Head Start) do?

As a Bus Driver for Child Advocates of Blair County, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe transport of our young learners to and from school and various school functions. Your day will start with pre-trip inspections, guaranteeing our vehicles are in tip-top shape for the journey ahead. While on the road, you’ll operate the bus with utmost care and attention, earning positive ride-along evaluations. You’ll be more than just a driver; you’ll greet each child by name, acknowledge their parents at pick-up, and ensure that no child is left unattended.

Requirements for this Bus Driver (Head Start) job

A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is essential, along with a valid Class B CDL License that includes both School Bus and Passenger Endorsements.
