Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in a skilled trade, including one year of experience equivalent to the E9-level in state service.
• Position may require a Commercial Drivers License to operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Constructs, erects, repairs, installs, and maintains doors, walls, drywall, partitions, steps, roofs, windows, furniture, cabinets, screens, scaffolds, concrete forms, and other structural facets of a facility.
• Repairs and installs locking mechanisms, installs wood, ceramic, cement and vinyl floor tile, glass, ceiling tile, and doors.
• Supervises and trains inmates in building trades.
