Job summary

TDIndustries is seeking a senior Building Technician III in Houston to lead, train, and guide others while overseeing HVAC setup, maintenance, WFI systems, and process equipment. You will troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues per SOPs and safety standards.

You will manage inventories, support equipment purchases, and work with engineers to implement process improvements across facility operations. Strong communication and reliability are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Current universal refrigeration license and/or other trade licenses as required.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Fundamentals in carpentry, plumbing, painting and electrical work.
• Knowledge of heating, ventilation and cooling systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, repairs and general facility maintenance tasks.
• Offer mentorship and training to fellow Building Technicians.
• Respond to Facility Service Work Orders and diagnose building management systems.
• Troubleshoot fire/life/safety, security and other building infrastructures.
• Follow safety policies and maintain compliant PPE usage.
• Collaborate with technicians to repair mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Complete paperwork timely and log readings from equipment.
