Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking a senior Building Technician III in Texas to lead and mentor other technicians while overseeing HVAC setup, maintenance, and critical building systems.

You will troubleshoot advanced mechanical and electrical components, manage tool inventory, and partner with engineers to implement facility improvements. The role requires strong leadership, safety adherence, and the ability to train others, with a focus on reliability and efficiency across MEP systems in complex

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical degree in related field is preferred.
• Current universal refrigeration license and/or other trade licenses as required.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Principles of carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical work; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs planned maintenance and general facility tasks across painting, patching, fixtures, caulking, carpentry, etc.
• Offers mentorship and training to fellow Building Technicians.
• Responds to Facility Service Work Orders (plumbing, HVAC, lighting, roofing, electrical). Diagnoses faults in building management/energy systems.
• Troubleshoots fire/life/safety, security and other infrastructures.
• Observes safety policies and uses PPE; ensures crew compliance.
• Collaborates with technicians to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems; interprets blueprints and schematics.
• Completes paperwork and logs readings; takes timely corrective actions before outages.
• Uses standard tools; keeps work areas clean and organized.
• Identifies opportunities for process and system improvements and implements approved changes.
