Job summary

QCS Staffing Ltd. in Ohio seeks a Building System Owner for a 12-month contract on a major life sciences project, supporting a new-build pharmaceutical facility and coordinating MEP system readiness.

You will act as the single point of contact for MEP status, drive commissioning readiness, escalate issues to the CQL, and ensure cross-functional alignment across construction, turnover, and readiness activities for QBMS/BMS systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong background in BMS/QBMS systems, including design, control wiring, field instrumentation, and terminations.
• Working knowledge of Johnson Controls QBMS/BMS platforms, including termination, checks, and controls/automation integration.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating cable pull activities (power, control, and instrumentation cabling) on industrial or pharmaceutical construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the single point of contact for MEP system-related queries on construction status, installation, readiness, and coordination.
• Monitoring MEP system status and coordinating resolution of construction and installation issues impacting readiness.
• Escalating quality non-conformances to the Construction Quality Lead (CQL).
• Identifying, managing, and escalating risks, issues, and changes impacting MEP system readiness, quality, or schedule.
• Providing forward planning and ensuring cross-functional alignment of construction, turnover, and readiness activities for MEP systems.
