Job summary

CBRE Chief Building Engineer Supervisor oversees maintenance across Tampa-area properties, directing HVAC, chiller plants, UPS, generators, and BMS operations. You will lead a team, develop preventive maintenance programs, manage budgets, and ensure high-quality work while meeting safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5-8 years of job-related experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Experience supervising and coaching teams is preferred.
• Strong math and budgeting skills; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor engineering staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Coordinate daily activities, set schedules, assign tasks, and track deadlines.
• Develop, implement, and communicate preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.
• Prepare material and labor cost estimates for work orders and projects.
• Manage budgets for facilities maintenance and respond to emergencies.
• Demonstrate CBRE values and lead multi-discipline collaboration.
