Job summary

Colliers in St. Louis Park, MN is seeking a Lead Building Engineer to ensure maintenance systems run efficiently and the safety of clients’ properties.

You’ll respond to client requests, prioritize and assign work orders, conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance, and build strong relationships with managers and suppliers. Required: 5+ years in building maintenance, Minnesota 2nd Class Grade C Boiler Operator license, Refrigeration Universal Recovery Certificate; HVAC, electrical

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in building/property maintenance or engineering.
• Minnesota 2nd Class Grade C Boiler Operator license required.
• Refrigeration Universal Recovery Certificate required.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and energy management systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily operating logs for air conditioning, fans, met ers and complaints.
• Ensure building systems and tenant requests are handled cost-effectively.
• Assist in annual budget and RFP processes for projects.
• Demonstrate procedures and chemical treatment levels for cooling towers and boilers.
