Colliers International in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Building Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BAS and life-safety systems across a commercial property. Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial building maintenance or building engineering experience.
• 1-2 years of HVAC technical school training.
• Class C Boiler License and Refrigeration License required.
• CFC Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BAS, and other building systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building automation, and life-safety systems.
• Perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and respond to tenant service requests.
• Support the seasonal startup and shutdown of boilers, cooling towers, and related equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to complete repairs and maintenance.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain maintenance records.
• Assist with snow removal, vendor escorts, and emergency building needs.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Collaborate with engineers, property management, and operations teams to ensure efficient building performance.
