Lead Building Services Technician

At Cedarbrook Senior Living, we work hard every day to find out what “Celebrating Life Every Day!” means to our residents and their families, then help them achieve these goals. We are seeking a dynamic Lead Building Services Technician for our Bloomfield Hills community.

Responsibilities:

• Support the supervisor with responding to after-hours emergency calls.
• Assist with performing routine maintenance duties to complete all service requests for repair and maintenance of grounds, buildings, apartment homes, and equipment in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Support the supervisor with addressing resident concerns.
• Assist in executing the preventative maintenance program.
• Advise the supervisor on the overall condition of the equipment and furnishings of the community.
• Assist with fire safety and disaster preparedness evacuation procedures.
• Assist with housekeeping services.
• Supervise the Building Services Technicians and Housekeepers during the absence of the Building Services Director and Assistant Director.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of technical knowledge.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment; possess intermediate knowledge of construction principles.
