Job summary

Braun Intertec in Grapevine, TX is looking for a Project Engineer to join the Building Sciences group. You will lead project teams, manage scopes and budgets, and develop client relationships to deliver practical structural solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in structural or civil engineering with 3+ years of experience; a MS is optional. Travel up to 35% and PE licensure in TX or progress toward it within 6–12 months are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in structural, civil, or related engineering.
• MS in structural or civil engineering is optional.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships, including project and non-project related face-to-face meetings.
• Lead a technical or project related team.
• Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects.
• Develop and execute whole scopes, and prepare engineering reports giving professional opinions and practical structural engineering solutions.
• Manage projects (scope, schedule, budget).
• Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies and standards.
• Mentor junior level engineering staff.
• Ensure compliance with corporate health and safety policies.
• Assist in review of analysis of building component failures and third party review of construction documents and specifications for building envelope components.
• Support field testing (window water spray, blower door, thermographic inspections, waterproofing/air barrier testing/inspections).
