Geotechnical Project Engineer
We are seeking a Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our Houston, TX (Northwest Houston) office. This role manages moderate to highly complex geotechnical projects, leveraging technical expertise to exceed client expectations and advance career growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships, including project and non‑project related face‑to‑face meetings
- Lead a technical or project related team
- Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects
- Develop and execute whole scopes, and prepare engineering reports providing professional opinions and practical geotechnical solutions
- Manage projects (scope, schedule, budget)
- Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies and standards
- Mentor junior level engineering staff
- Ensure compliance with corporate health and safety policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering required; Master’s degree (MS) preferred
- Five or more years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing project management experience
- Experience managing client relationships, vendor management, and leading a team
- Experience with investigation and construction phase of projects
- Experience with Texas PK‑12 education, municipal or commercial projects preferred
- Texas Professional Engineer registration/licensure required
- Ability to lift up to 50–75 pounds on a periodic basis

- Travel up to 25% of time
- Competitive compensation range: $88,000 – $131,000 per year
